• Support the employees responsible for Local IT Solutions and their roadmaps to align Local IT Solution implementation and operations to the Local IT Product Policy
• Act as a KONE IT representative towards local business or functions and help to find right contacts from KONE IT on need basis.
• Inform local business on global KONE policies, standards, and processes for IT related topics such as Local IT, cybersecurity, or architecture. Where needed, ensure that the local business gets the required support in understanding and implementing the same.
• Act as escalation point for local business towards KONE IT Product Teams by contacting Product Owner/Ops Lead if escalation is needed.
• Find contacts or knowledge of local setup from business to global IT units and/or projects when needed and help the global deployment projects to find local resources for deployments from their local vendor network if needed.
• Engage with local users and identify opportunities for improvement to service experience related to global IT products and related processes such as incident management, service request management etc. Work with global teams to implement the prioritized improvements.
• Organize and support workstation asset management in respective region including hardware orders, maintaining of the assets, and consult in their financial management, forecasting, budget etc.
• Support the local implementation for site moves/openings/closure and ensure business continuity. Act as contact point between Connectivity Team and local business. Support scope varies depending on the size and criticality of the site.
• Manage user communications towards respective frontlines / countries / Supply Lines. IT Collaborate with KTI communications when needed. Specialist is not responsible for translations of communication material, user guidelines or similar.
• Collaborate with local business leadership and Unit KONE Way Managers to understand local needs towards global IT products or new demand for Local IT business solutions. Communicate the same to IT Managers or KONE IT global teams. When needed, acts as an interface point for Local IT solutions towards global teams with regards to integration and implementation needs.
• Seniority levels within the role differ in terms of applicability of responsibilities from the above list as well as the size and criticality of the local business in scope of the role. e.g., An entry-level position may have a subset of the above responsibilities for a relatively small Front Line or a Supply Line site. A senior level position may have responsibility for a large Front Line or a critical Supply Line site. In addition, selected responsibilities defined for IT Manager may be delegated to a senior level IT Specialist. Exact details of responsibilities are agreed for each specific position
