This individual in this role is responsible for developing new and exciting products for KnowBe4’s customers, alongside other engineers in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develops software using the KnowBe4 Software Development Lifecycle and Agile Methodologies
- Provides a technical contribution to projects
- Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and reusable code for our front-end applications using Svelte and Typescript.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and backend developers, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of features.
- Rapidly prototype and refine applications based on user experience feedback
- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code, ensuring technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, focusing on exceptional user experience.
- Application of accessibility standards (WCAG) and designing for diverse user groups.
- Nice to have: Interest or experience in UX design, with an understanding of user-centered design principles and practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of front-end development experience with a proven track record.
- Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of Typescript
- Experience with one or more mainstream UI frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js, Svelte).
The base pay for this position ranges from $100,000-$115,000, which will vary depending on how well an applicant's skills and experience align with the job description listed above.
