Your hands‑on expertise in planning and executing successful projects in the field has already equipped you with many of the core competencies needed for project management.

Skills such as manpower, budget awareness, scheduling, and coordinating resources translate exceptionally well into our Project Manager training program. With our structured development path, your field experience can serve as a powerful foundation for becoming a highly effective Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in project hand‑off meetings with the pre‑construction team to learn how project objectives, scope, and expectations are transitioned into execution.
  • Assist in preparing and tracking project deliverables—including submittals, shop drawings, procurement schedules, and close‑out documentation—while developing strong document‑management skills.
  • Support the development and maintenance of project schedules, gaining experience with sequencing, critical path awareness, and schedule updates.
  • Learn to establish and manage project budgets, building foundational skills in cost tracking, forecasting, and financial decision‑making.
  • Contribute to the coordination of construction activities, including layout, manpower planning, and issue resolution, while strengthening field‑to‑office communication skills.
  • Perform detailed itemized take‑offs under guidance to build accuracy in quantity assessment and material planning.
  • Assist in creating, managing, and negotiating project scope change proposals to understand the impact of scope adjustments on cost and schedule.
  • Learn to create, manage, and track RFIs, ensuring timely communication and resolution of project questions.
  • Support compliance efforts by learning and applying company policies, safety standards, and productivity guidelines throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, employees, and internal teams while developing professional communication and relationship‑management skills.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned to support overall project success and broaden project management competencies.

Position Requirements:
  • 5+ years in Field Supervision as a Foreman, Field Manager, Superintendent or related.
  • Experience with materials and equipment used in commercial electrical projects.
  • Ability to travel at any time to project(s) located at various locations nationwide.
  • Intermediate Excel skills are necessary as well as MS Office applications.
  • Strong organizational skills and previous planning success for project coordination.
  • Successful background in collaborating with customers, vendors, employees, and partners to solve related issues.
  • Proficiency in software tools Bluebeam, Procore or similar in the electrical construction industry.
  • Must comply with our Conduct and Appearance Standards, which reflect Company image.
  • Must pass a criminal background check.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.

Additional Requirements:

·      Full Medical, Dental, 401(k), vehicle allowance and other benefits
