With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience, chipmakers around the globe rely on KLA to ensure that their fabs ramp next-generation devices to volume production quickly and cost-effectively. Enabling the movement towards advanced chip design, KLA's Global Products Group (GPG), which is responsible for creating all of KLA’s metrology and inspection products, is looking for the best and the brightest research scientist, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers. Central Engineering is KLA's largest engineering organization comprised of 9 Centers-of-Excellence (CoE) in various disciplines applied across all product groups in the company. These CoE include Handling & Automation, Precision Motion Control, Sensors & Image Acquisition, Platform Design, and Packaging Engineering, among others. Talent includes over 500 engineers across global centers in Israel, China, India, and the US. Each CoE contributes not just talent and deliverables per discipline toward product programs, but also subject matter expertise, best practices, roadmaps, specialized facilities, apparatus, models, and analytics. Responsibilities:

• Design, Develop & Deliver Software for Customer requirements meeting stringent quality norms
• Collaborate with other team members to evaluate, prototype, and select frameworks & technologies, implement and maintain them
• Work across teams from different geographical locations including systems, marketing, applications, and manufacturing on all aspects of SDLC
• Understand, champion, and enforce software development best practices.
• Travel to other KLA sites and customer sites on a needed basis

  

Basic requirements:

• Technical expertise in one or more programming language (C#/Java/C++/Python/Javascript)
• Multi-threaded and multi-core software application programming
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Proven experience in debugging large complex software
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Motivated to learn new skills independently
• Creative thinker with good problem-solving abilities

Desired:

• Experience with the following technical areas
  • Web development (HTTP, REST, JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
  • Distributed computing principles
  • Development of large-scale applications with Python & Java
  • TensorFlow, NumPy, scikit-learn, and other ML and DL frameworks
• Ability to develop Software with Clean Code and SOLID principles
• Experience in handling and processing huge volumes of data and Knowledge of Data Engineering frameworks & practices

Minimum Qualifications

Education & experience:

• BE/B.Tech/MS/MCA/MTech (CS/Electronics/Physics/ECE degree) with minimum 2+ years relevant experience
