About the FaST Division
Our FaST Division offers a cutting-edge portfolio of metrology products, including hardware and software solutions for optical film thickness, optical critical dimension (CD), composition, and resistivity measurement systems. These products are vital for IC manufacturers, providing essential metrology capabilities for the development and implementation of advanced IC processes. We are dedicated to supporting our customers in achieving the full performance potential of our solutions. From early research and development to high-volume in-line manufacturing, we partner closely with our customers to meet their specific process needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for providing technical applications support for the development and implementation of KLA FaST products in customer fabrication facilities.
- Respond to customer requests and provide outstanding support with effective communication.
- Makes presentations on all aspects of existing and new product features.
- Be responsible for acceptance test, customers training, recipe setup, project execution, and related activities.
- Works together with KLA service engineers to troubleshoot and identifying tool problems and help to issue and drive POA’s (Plan Of Action) as part of 7-step problem solving methodology.
- Escalates field apps issue to division and follow up for issue fix.
- Provides follow-up support in disseminating technical information on specific applications.
- Drive penetration, share and adoption of product with customer.
- Understand customer’s production workflow for KLA solutions to provide maximum value to customers. Identify gaps and challenges, and areas of further collaboration.
- Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
- Assists sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs.
- Generate BKM and publish technical paper.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s Degree in a Physical Sciences or Engineering field is required, or Bachelor’s degree with semiconductor experience and knowledge.
- An advanced degree in a technical field related to thin-film deposition, metrology, or surface characterization is beneficial.
- Ability to perform complex data analysis using data-analysis tools, Excel, JMP, MATLAB or equivalent.
- A background in IC processing/Semiconductor equipment strongly desirable.
- Teamwork is critical so having a good balance between technical skills and people skills is a must.
- Must have excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Candidate will be required to frequently present results to internal as well as external customers.
Traveling to customer sites is required. The position is based in the Dublin, Ireland.
