  • Drive MV engineering activities from design development through procurement, installation, testing, commissioning, and client handover.
  • Manage technical submittals, design reviews, equipment approvals, and supply chain coordination.
  • Carry out advanced power system modelling and studies using industry-leading software such as ETAP, PSCAD, DIgSILENT, and CDEGS.
  • Review and validate MV system designs, ensuring compliance with project specifications, IEC/IEEE standards, and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with BIM, construction, commissioning, and procurement teams to ensure designs are practical, buildable, and efficient.
  • Support complex troubleshooting activities and provide technical leadership across multiple projects and regions.
  • Manage specialist vendors and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and successful system commissioning.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, engineering best practices, and company-wide technical standards.
  • Mentor and support graduate and junior engineers, helping to develop future engineering talent.

Key Technical Expertise

You will have extensive experience in:

  • Medium Voltage (MV) Power Distribution Systems
  • Load Flow & Short Circuit Studies
  • Protection Coordination & Selectivity Studies
  • Arc Flash Analysis
  • Earthing & Grounding Design
  • Harmonic & Power Quality Analysis
  • Motor Starting & Transient Stability Studies
  • MV Switchgear, Transformers, Protection Relays & Cable Systems
  • Electrical Testing, Commissioning & System Validation
  • IEC and IEEE Design Standards

What We're Looking For

  • Strong background in MV electrical design and power system engineering.
  • Proven experience delivering MV packages on large-scale industrial, pharmaceutical, data centre, or mission-critical projects.
  • Proficiency in ETAP, PSCAD, DIgSILENT, CDEGS, or equivalent power system analysis software.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead technical design reviews and provide engineering guidance across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Passion for engineering excellence, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing.
