Senior Python Engineer

Description

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Python Engineer to join our engineering team. We’re looking for someone with strong technical depth who enjoys both building systems and helping engineering teams operate at their best.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based microservices in production environments.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Take an active hands-on role in technical implementation, debugging, and optimization.
• Collaborate closely with backend, DevOps, data, and product teams.
• Participate in architecture and system design discussions, code reviews, and technical planning.
• Break down complex technical initiatives into clear and actionable tasks.
• Promote strong engineering practices, ownership, and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to improving development processes, tools, and best practices.

Requirements

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience, with strong hands-on expertise in Python.
• Practical experience building and maintaining microservices.
• Proven experience leading development processes, projects, or Agile/Scrum ceremonies within an engineering team.
• Proficiency with RESTful API frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Familiarity with message queues or streaming systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and modern engineering practices.
• Ability to combine technical execution with planning, coordination, and team facilitation.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Reliable, independent, and highly execution-oriented.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Pragmatic mindset with a strong focus on quality and delivery.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience as a Scrum Master, Technical Lead, Team Lead, or technical project owner.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
