Position Overview:
As a QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your expertise in manual testing and diverse testing environments, including web applications, REST APIs, will be instrumental in identifying and reporting issues. Additionally, your exposure to technologies for Windows and Mac will contribute to comprehensive testing across platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases for web applications, REST APIs, and agent-based technologies (Windows and Mac).
- Perform manual testing to identify software defects, usability issues, and inconsistencies.
- Maintain and update automation tests if needed.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure comprehensive test coverage and timely issue resolution.
- Document and communicate test results and issues effectively.
- Verify bug fixes and enhancements through regression testing.
- Maintain and update test documentation as needed.
- Contribute to improving QA processes and methodologies.
- Provide feedback and suggestions for product improvement.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a QA Engineer.
- Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience testing web applications, REST APIs
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with the development team.
- Ability to develop and execute test plans and test cases independently.
- Exposure to QA automation tools and programming languages (JavaScript and Python) is a plus.
- Exposure to building testing environments and technologies.
