Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ruby on Rails Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications that enhance our cybersecurity platform. Your expertise in Ruby on Rails and front-end technologies will be crucial in delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Maintain Web Applications:
    Build and maintain robust, scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails.

  • Code Quality:
    Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

  • Collaboration:
    Work closely with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features.

  • Data Storage Integration:
    Integrate data storage solutions, including relational databases and key-value stores.

  • Performance Optimization:
    Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

  • Bug Fixing and Solution Implementation:
    Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and develop solutions to address them.

  • Code Organization and Automation:
    Assist in maintaining code quality, organization, and automation across the codebase.

Qualifications

  • Proven Experience:
    Proven experience as a Ruby on Rails developer.

  • Object-Oriented Programming:
    Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.

  • Front-End Technologies:
    Proficiency with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and jQuery.

  • Database Experience:
    Experience with relational databases and SQL.

  • Version Control:
    Familiarity with version control tools, preferably Git.

  • Code Efficiency:
    Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

  • Problem-Solving Skills:
    Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

  • Education:
    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cybersecurity Industry Experience:
    Experience working in the cybersecurity industry is a plus.

  • Agile Methodologies:
    Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

  • Automated Testing:
    Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and test-driven development.
