What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and optimize scalable, high-performance Go-based solutions for Kaseya’s Direct-to-Cloud backup products.
- Collaborate with product management to introduce new features that enhance reliability, security, and the MSP customer experience.
- Actively advocate for continuous improvement in processes and workflows.
- Mentor and inspire team members by embodying Kaseya’s core values of collaboration and innovation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve service-impacting issues through rotational on-call responsibilities, using cloud-native tools and Go’s efficient debugging capabilities.
Skills You’ll Need
- 4+ years of experience delivering robust, maintainable, and scalable software solutions.
- Strong expertise in Go, with demonstrated problem-solving and design skills.
- Familiarity with PHP and Python, with the ability to contribute as needed to legacy codebases.
- Proficiency in debugging Linux-based systems using the command line and shell scripting (bash).
- Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, leveraging Go for cloud-based applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts effectively.
- Knowledge of functional programming paradigms, particularly as they relate to enhancing Go’s capabilities.
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

- Our products are built on Microsoft Azure and the Datto cloud, with infrastructure managed via Terraform, and applications containerized using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Our development environment is Windows-based, and we are looking for candidates who are comfortable with this setup.
