Job Description
Kaseya is looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer to work on the strategically important product in the security area, who will be a major part of the core team which is responsible for reliability, scalability and availability of the backend part that is used for web portal, mobile applications and browser extension from the one side and implementing new features from another. As part of this team, you will closely work with all other product team members – mobile and frontend developers, QAs, DevOps, designers, PO, Support and Professional Services teams.
As a Software Development Engineer (SDE) at Kaseya, you will help design, develop, and implement code for our award-winning products. We use a wide range of technologies internally and look for interesting experiences and skillsets.

We work in small, tightly managed agile teams that permit each developer to do its best work, and to deliver immediate impact and leadership to the company.
Job Responsibilities:
- SDEs take ownership of their code and work closely with other team members to develop new features as well as efficiently address reported defects in ways that delight our customers.
- Using an Agile/Scrum methodology, SDEs discuss requirements, propose solutions, estimate their work, and then collaborate with others through the entire lifecycle.
- Follow the established Agile/Scrum methodology for software design, development, code reviews, and testing
- Ensuring product quality and reliability
- Design, develop and integrate solutions that can be shipped on time while complying with standards for usability, security, stability reliability and performance.
Education, Experience & Requirements:
- BS in Computer Science
- 4+ years of experience in .Net development (good knowledge of both .NET Framework 4.7 and modern .NET)
- Experience with Azure stuff (ServiceBus, NotificationHub, services)
- Experience with Git, Docker, Kubernetes
- Experience in developing web applications
- Strong troubleshooting skills, good skill in reading and understanding legacy codebases
- Good understanding of engineering and architectural best practices and willingness to implement them
- Strong understanding of relational databases and knows how to read and write SQL queries
- Effective English communication skills (both written and verbal)
Nice to have:
- Experience with React, Redux, TypeScript
- Experience with C/C++
- Experience with Microsoft products like Active Directory, Windows Server, Microsoft365, Azure AD)
- Experience in developing Windows Services
