Position Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Senior Manual QA Engineer to join our team. The
ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual testing, a keen eye for detail, and a
passion for ensuring software quality. You will play a critical role in our product development
process, working closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver a
high-quality web portal that exceeds our customers' expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web
applications and services.
• Perform manual testing to identify software defects, usability issues, and
inconsistencies.
• Maintain and update automation tests if needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide
feedback on product specifications.
• Participate in design and code reviews to provide a QA perspective.
• Document and communicate test results and issues effectively.
• Verify bug fixes and enhancements through regression testing.
• Maintain and update test documentation as needed.
• Contribute to improving QA processes and methodologies.
• Provide feedback and suggestions for product improvement.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in manual testing, preferably in web applications.
• Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience testing web applications, REST APIs
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with the development team.
• Ability to develop and execute test plans and test cases independently.
• Exposure to QA automation tools and programming languages (JavaScript and Python) is
a plus.
• Knowledge of SQL and experience with database testing.
• Exposure to building testing environments and technologies.
