SaaS Defense proactively defends against malware, phishing, and business email compromise attacks, ensuring comprehensive security for our clients.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team responsible for Datto SaaS Defense. In this role, you will design, implement, and manage the infrastructure and deployment processes that ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our SaaS Defense platform. Your expertise will be crucial in enhancing our continuous integration and delivery pipelines, automating workflows, and maintaining system integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure on platforms such as Microsoft Azure to support Datto SaaS Defense.
CI/CD Pipeline Development: Develop and manage continuous integration and delivery pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and monitoring of the SaaS Defense platform.
Automation: Create and maintain scripts and tools to automate routine tasks, improving efficiency and reducing manual intervention.
Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Implement monitoring solutions to track system performance, identify issues, and optimize system reliability and scalability.
Collaboration: Work closely with software development, security, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of new features and updates.
Security Compliance: Ensure that all systems and processes comply with industry security standards and best practices, proactively identifying and mitigating potential vulnerabilities.
Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps or related roles, with a focus on cloud-based infrastructure and automation.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Proven leadership and mentorship capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Microsoft 365 security solutions.
Knowledge of advanced threat protection mechanisms and best practices.
Relevant certifications, such as Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
