We're looking for an experienced Software Engineer, with a passion for technology and how it can make ‘magic’ happen. The Role:
The DRMM Team enhances and maintains the software powering the remote management and monitoring cloud service delivered from around the globe from the Amazon AWS platform. In a nutshell, DRMM provides a central support desk with the tools to audit, manage, monitor and support the distributed devices of their customers. It achieves this by installing an agent onto Windows, MacOS, Linux platforms which communicate in real time with our cloud service in AWS. It’s what’s known as an agent based RMM.
The ability to remote control devices is an important part of DRMM's remote tool line up. You will be part of the team responsible for building our new browser based "Web Remote" tool (using F# and Fable) that allows users to connect and control a desktop anywhere in the world.
About You (Essential):
- Experience of C#, .NET ecosystem and windows development – Minimum 3 years
- Willing to learn and develop functional programming with F#
- Highly motivated, eager to learn, take pride in your work & thrive in dynamic, fast paced environments
Bonus skills and experience (not essential):
- Exposure to cloud, e.g., AWS/Azure/GCP
- Previous experience in F#
- Experience with React development
- Experience with WebSockets and/or WebRTC
- Testing frameworks
- Previous contribution to open-source software
- Experience of scrum/kanban methodologies
