WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable automated test scripts using Python.
• Participate in manual testing when necessary to ensure product quality.
• Identify, record, document, and track bugs to resolution, collaborating closely with the development team to improve existing products and validate new features.
• Stay updated on the latest testing tools, strategies, and technologies to maintain cutting-edge QA practices.
• Create tests adhering to company and industry best practices and compliance standards.
• Participate in design and specification reviews to ensure quality considerations are integrated into product development.
• Mentor and train junior QA engineers, fostering growth and expertise within the team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform QA automation for networking products, ensuring scalability, reliability, and robustness.
• Develop test plans and cases, leveraging tools like Postman, Pytest, and Playwright.
• Test AWS cloud infrastructure, REST APIs, and web applications.
• Document and troubleshoot bugs, identifying root causes and collaborating on resolutions.
• Manage test tickets and documentation using Jira and Zephyr.
• Apply a strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and packet data communication protocols.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of QA automation experience.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with test automation frameworks.
• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, REST APIs, and web applications.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking protocols.
• Familiarity with QA tools like Postman, Pytest, and Playwright, and ticketing systems like Jira and Zephyr.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation.
• Self-motivation and a commitment to high-quality, timely work delivery.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with consumer and enterprise networking hardware.
• Familiarity with desktop and mobile application QA, particularly VPN software.
• Exposure to network equipment such as switches, routers, and access points.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on continuous improvement.
