Position : Power BI Consultant (Part-Time)

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Understand business requirements and translate them into meaningful dashboards and visualizations.
• Build and optimize data models using Power Query, DAX, and Power BI best practices.
• Integrate data from multiple sources including Excel, SQL Server, SharePoint, APIs, and cloud platforms.
• Automate data collection, transformation, and reporting processes using Power BI, Power Automate, VBA, Python, or related tools.
• Troubleshoot dashboard performance issues and optimize report efficiency.
• Develop KPIs, scorecards, and executive dashboards for business decision-making.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify reporting and analytics requirements.
• Provide technical guidance, best practices, and knowledge transfer to the team.
• Support ongoing dashboard enhancements and analytics initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Microsoft Power BI certification is preferred.
• Additional certifications in Azure Data Services or Microsoft Fabric are an advantage.

Experience

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI development and business intelligence solutions.
• Experience in dashboard development, data visualization, and reporting automation.
• Strong experience with Power Query, DAX, Power BI Service, and data modeling.
• Experience working with SQL databases and ETL processes.
• Exposure to Power Automate, Excel VBA, Python, or other automation tools is preferred.

Required Skills

• Advanced knowledge of Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Strong expertise in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
• Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience integrating multiple data sources into Power BI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and deliver solutions within deadlines.
