Role Description         

Kantar Media is a global leader in media research. This includes audience measurement - reporting all viewing on all platforms, consumer profiling and targeting with TGI, and in-depth advertising intelligence. Kantar Media is seeking a Lead Software Developer , ready to take the next steps in their career toward managing. Working closely with the Technical Lead Director, your responsibilities will be the following:

Role Responsibilities:

• Owning the development team in design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of Data Integration application
• Managing all the activities of the software development team and set goals for each team member to ensure timely project delivery.
• Keep up to date with the latest development software.
• Hire and train new developers.
• Provide mentorship to the team and ensure they enforce to development standards.
• Ensure adequate documentation exists.
• Build alliance and work with other partner pillars within Kantar for a shared goal.
• Direct team of 15-20 vendor team

Required

Essential:

• Experience in the data processing applications
• Practical production experience in software implementation
• Experience working with high-level sophisticated problem definition using algorithms.
• Good social skills
• Experience working in a distributed team.
• Background in software development or in a hands-on technical role 

Desirable:

• Spark data processing
• Cloud technologies – Azure, DataBricks, Kubernetes
• Software Architectural skills
• DevOps
• Agile / Scrum certified.
