Job Details

Lead Engineer - AWS


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
o Work on multiple concurrent development projects.
o Participate in requirements gathering, database design, testing and production deployments.
o Analyze system/application requirements and design innovative solutions.
o Translating business requirements to technical specifications— data streams, data integrations, data transformations, databases,
data warehouses & data validation rules.
o Design and develop SQL Server database objects (i.e., tables, views, stored procedures, indexes, triggers, constraints, etc.)
o Analyze and design data flow, data lineage mapping and data models.
o Optimize, scale and reduce the cost of analytics data platforms for multiple clients.
o Adherence to data management processes and capabilities.
o Enforcing compliance with data governance and data security.
o Performance tuning and query optimizations in terms of all the database objects.
o Perform unit and integration testing.
o Create technical documentation, Develop and assist team members, Provides training to the team members.


DESIRED PROFILE
o Graduate(BE/B.Tech)/Masters(ME/M.Tech/MS) in Computer Science or equivalent from a well-known institute with total
experience of 6-8 years and 3 - 4 years of experience on any cloud platform.
o Experience in data modelling and database design.
o Demonstrate proficiency in Python scripting language
o Experience of data handling using Python . Experience on Pandas library . Be able to fetch the data from API's and bring it into
tabular format .
o Working experience on Spark.
o Working experience of Redshift, AWS Glue, Athena and AWS Data Catalog.
o The candidate must have a demonstrated experience in building and maintaining reliable and scalable Data pipeline on cloud
(AWS) for big data platforms.
o Working experience on Azure or GCP will be an added advantage and good to have, Good to have working experience on Aurora
DB
o Solid understanding of database design principles.
o The candidate must also have had experience in data warehousing inclusive of dimensional modeling concepts and data lake
concepts with practical knowledge of Data Modeling and implementation.
o Experience in analyzing very large real-world datasets and hands-on approach in data analytics will be a plus.
o Experience with Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment etc.
o Strong analytical and technical skills, Good verbal and written communication, Flexible to learn and work on new technologies
