The Opportunity

Kandji is looking for an exceptional Automation Engineer to join our growing QA team!

As a Sr. QA Automation Engineer you will be responsible for building and maintaining an automation framework and developing automated test cases to ensure high quality delivery for Kandji customers. You will be embedded on our new Experience team where you will work in tandem with developers to conceptualize, develop, and maintain an automation suite. Outside of your development team, you will have the opportunity to fully own our automation strategy, mentor QA, and be the ambassador of automation for the Engineering organization. You will be testing across multiple OS, device types, and browser versions to ensure complete coverage for all customer endpoints. 

How you'll make a difference day to day

  • Manage, drive, and own the entire testing process for your scrum team
  • Build and maintain a robust and resilient automation framework
  • Build, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test procedures
  • Work with other QA Engineers to develop test cases, and best practices for creating automated test cases that can improve test coverage and product quality
  • Reproduce, diagnose, and document software defects
  • Verify that new feature requirements are met in each release
  • Attend and contribute to daily scrum ceremonies
  • Work closely with developers to make the product easier to test with automation, and improve testing consistency
  • Engage in early product development discussions to ideate, review, and catch potential issues before code is written
  • Maintain high levels of communication with all team members, stakeholders, and the QA team

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4 years creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated test cases
  • 2 or more years of experience conducting black box, white box, and grey box testing
  • Extensive knowledge of TypeScript, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, and XML
  • Working knowledge of SQL and No-SQL databases
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Prior working experience in bug and issue tracking software, such as Jira, Rally, BugZilla
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Github Actions, AWS CodePipeline
  • Required to work on-site 5x a week in our Miami office (Coral Gables).

Nice to have, but not required

  • Direct Playwright experience
  • Automation deployment experience
  • CS degree, or equivalent
  • Experience automating API tests with tools like ReadyAPI, Postman
  • Prior working experience in Agile, specifically SCRUM
  • Experience managing test environments
  • Experience with Web and API performance testing
