The Opportunity
We are seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to design, implement, and manage security solutions for our cloud infrastructure. You will be responsible for securing cloud-based environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and mitigating security risks. This role requires deep expertise in cloud security best practices, automation, and modern security tools.
How you will make a difference
- Design and implement secure cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud.
- Develop and enforce cloud security policies, procedures, and controls to protect infrastructure, applications, and data.
- Conduct threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify security risks.
- Implement and manage cloud-native security solutions such as AWS Security Hub.
- Automate security monitoring, incident response, and compliance reporting using SIEM, SOAR, and IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
- Collaborate with DevOps and Engineering teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps).
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and CIS benchmarks.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, performing forensics and root cause analysis.
- Stay up to date on emerging cloud security threats and trends, recommending proactive security measures.
We’d love to hear from you if you have
- 5+ years of experience in cloud security, cybersecurity, or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP security architectures.
- Experience with cloud IAM, encryption, network security, and monitoring tools.
- Hands-on experience with container security (Kubernetes, Docker) and serverless security.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, Terraform, or similar).
- Knowledge of zero-trust security models and secure coding practices.
- Familiarity with SOC, SIEM, IDS/IPS, WAFs, and endpoint security tools.
- Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, AWS Security Specialty, or GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer are a plus.

- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, IT, Engineering).Excellent communication skills to articulate security risks to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
