Job Description
- Develop and optimize layout concepts for systems and equipment in retrofit and new projects
- Prepare, update and check various plans such as layout, load tables, construction data, steel construction, platforms, ducting, and piping and component drawings
- Integrate and review design inputs from internal teams and external suppliers
- Coordinate layout data exchange across project teams, consortium partners, and engineering vendors
- Ensure maintainability, accessibility, and constructability studies within your assigned project area
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Aveva E3D (formerly PDMS) and Navisworks; familiarity with AutoCAD is an advantage
- 3+ years of experience in plant/layout design for power, oil & gas, or industrial facilities, with expertise in structural and mechanical design, piping routing, and equipment arrangement
- Proven track record in developing layout concepts for complete plants, including technical risk assessment and solution development
- Fluent in English and Italian, German or French is a plus
- Self-driven, pragmatic and confident communicator with a strong focus on delivering solutions
