The role 

We're looking for a Platform Engineer to join our growing Cloud platform group.

We are in the process of developing an innovative video platform as a service, hosted on AWS, that offers an end-to-end video experience to our customer base.

In the role, you will be join our foundation team who is responsible for the data operation and AI, also, will work closely with with other RnD teams to meet product roadmap


The day-to-day 

  • Manage, Operate, Enhance and maintain a SaaS platform that process 100TB a day, 100,000 transaction/seconds and 250Gbps.
  • Introduce cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to improve existing processes, with emphasis on speeding up and automating manual processes.
  • Be a part of a Platform team that develop our product and infrastructure
  • Build self-serve tools to be consumed by the technical teams in the organization.
  • Embrace DevOps mythologies and contribute to the open-source community
  • Build the company's Data & AI infra, using technologies as Druid, Databricks, EMR etc. 


Ideally, we’re looking for:

  • Experience with cloud (AWS/Azure/Google, OCI) production environment and cloud-native stack- a must
  • Coding experience (preferably Python) - a must
  • Working in a containerized environment, K8s experience using Helm - a must
  • advantage working with ArgoCD.
  • Strong background knowledge in Linux Administration.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as a Code, Preferably Terraform and Ansible


These would also be nice: 

  • Monitoring/Logging experience
  • Strong Networking and Security skills
