Location : Remote,India

Responsibilities

• Migrate data between different databases of our BI solutions.
• Help deploy, configure, and customize our BI solutions for our customers.
• Analyse large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns.
• Ability to bring different sources of data together to deliver insights.
• Combine models through ensemble modelling.
• Present information using data visualization techniques.
• Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product Development teams.

Requirements

• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field; graduate degree inData Science or other quantitative field is preferred.
• 6+ years of experience with strong background in databases, ETL, data streaming to the cloud, and data visualization.
• Proficient with Microsoft Power BI.
• Understanding of machine-learning and operations research.
• Knowledge of R, SQL and Python; familiarity with Scala, Java or C++ is an asset.
• Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau) and data frameworks(e.g. Hadoop).
• Experience with Kafka and Pentaho Kettle is a Plus.
• Experience with Navis N4 and Navis XPS is a Plus.
• The ideal candidate should possess an analytical mind, strong math skills (including statistics and algebra), and a problem-solving aptitude
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Willing to travel 25% of the time to customer sites around the globe.
