WHAT YOUR NEW JOB WILL BE ABOUT

As a Team leader, you play an important role in ensuring that your team work well together and deliver high quality work on time so that all goods leave the Warehouse on time.

Your role is to:

  • Motivate and develop your team to ensure they are well trained in the processes, dedicated to achieving goals, loyal to JYSK and effective in their tasks
  • Ensure optimal flow through clear structures and routines and address potential challenges in collaboration
  • Manage resolution of operational disturbances and input on how to optimise the flow to avoid the same errors in the future
  • Be proactive in the management and implementation of Health and Safety policies and procedures and act on any safety concerns in collaboration with the Warehouse Department Manager
  • Collaborate across departments in Ireland and Denmark through constructive communication and feedback
  • Living up to our JYSK Values; Tradesman, Colleague and Corporate spirit and Leadership; Leader, Coach and Communicator
  • Expect traveling to other JYSK Distribution Centres in Europa for educational purposes

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING

  • The motivation to work with people and ensure their development to create a better team
  • The drive to deliver great results and continually strive to raise the bar on both quality and performance
  • You like to challenge the state of things, to constantly improve routines and processes
  • Experience from a similar position, preferably as a manager in the field of logistics
  • Ability to make independent decisions in a busy working day and act in complex situations
  • Knowledges of Health and Safety regulations
  • You can adapt quickly to new situations, and you enjoy a varied working day
  • Good collaboration skills and the ability to communicate at multiple levels and build good relationships across departments
  • Ability to work flexible hours as the job demands
