WHAT YOUR NEW JOB WILL BE ABOUT

We are looking for a Project Manager to be locally responsible for the project and development of our new Distribution Center (DC) in Lelystad which will be operational in approximately 3 years. Once the project is up and running, the transition will be made to Technical Manager in the new DC in Lelystad. We are looking for someone able to work and participate in very international environments working with colleagues from many different countries.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Generally responsible for managing project within the given scope, timeframe and budget in cooperation with the JYSK project organisation 
• Daily onsite project management and coordination with all suppliers 
• Maintain projectplans and follow up on resources
• Ensuring high information level to all stake holders
• Ensure focus and progress through visible management
• Ensuring basis of calculation for DC projects
• Securing optimal flows on mechanical systems
• Represent logistics in cross organizational projects
• Living our JYSK Values; Tradesman, Colleague and Corporate Spirit

You will be located at our current Forward Distribution Center in Lelystad and if needed you might have to assist with minor technical issues, but your focus will be as an on-site Project Manager for the new DC.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING

• Excellent project management skills
• Experience in larger constructions and/or larger technical logistic projects
• Able to work on distance from management
• Pioneer attitude
• Responsible and proactive
• Good stakeholder management toward suplliers, municipality, authorities
• An extrovert person profile
• Fluent in Dutch 
• Great English skills

For background experience we hope to see that you have experience in project management with technical skills/technical interest or experience as a Technical Manager with good project management skills.
