Job Summary:  

As an HR and Recruiting Intern, you will work closely with the recruitment, HR and payroll team to support the hiring process and ensure a smooth candidate experience. You will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of talent acquisition and human resources, including candidate sourcing, interview coordination, and administrative support. Additionally, you will assist the HR team with file structure and organization and other HR projects. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to learn and grow in the HR field. 

Your duties and responsibilities will include: 

  • Assist in sourcing candidates for open positions through various channels (job boards, social media, and networking). 
  • Help screen resumes and job applications to identify qualified candidates. 
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and candidates. 
  • Communicate with candidates to provide updates on the hiring process and next steps. 
  • Prepare and maintain candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS). 
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR and recruiting team as needed. 
  • Maintain and update recruitment reports and metrics. 
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve the recruiting and HR processes. 
  • Assist with other recruitment projects like revamping our confluence page and designing and creating a central place to organize all our HR files. 

Qualifications: 

  • Currently a Junior or Senior pursuing bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational psychology, business administration, or other related field. 
  • Strong interest in talent acquisition and human resources. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. 
  • Minimum 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale

This position is subject to compliance with the Export Administration Regulations ("EAR") and may require a U.S. person status verification.

Candidates may be required to undergo an SF-85 background check for certain government-related projects.

Echo Jobs has been exceptional in my job hunt where it provides one platform to job hunt and I don't have to open 10 websites just to look for a job. It has also helped me focus much on the job skill and the location filtering out the onsite jobs and remote ones. The only feature that I would request is to display fully remote jobs that are not restricted to a country since the one available shows ie, Remote, US yet. But if it could show remote only, that would be helpful not only to me but to other people applying for full remote and not tied to only US candidates

Simply put, it's the most up to date tech jobs aggregator I’ve found. I'm like... "I don't have to check 10+ jobs boards daily just to see if there's a new job listing? sign me up!" The filters are also quite helpful! The UI is very clean and straightforward. Love it!
