About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to play a key technical role in the development, governance, and evolution of a large-scale Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment. This position combines hands-on software engineering with cloud architecture, platform engineering, technical governance, and infrastructure development.

The successful candidate will drive the technical direction of the platform, collaborate with internal stakeholders and external delivery partners, and ensure that platform solutions meet the highest standards for security, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and drive the technical roadmap for the GCP platform.

• Design and implement scalable, cloud-native platform capabilities.

• Act as the technical authority for platform code, performing reviews and approving implementations.

• Review and maintain high-quality TypeScript and Python microservices in accordance with engineering best practices.

• Enhance AI-assisted development workflows, including automated pull request reviews and repository governance.

• Translate business requirements into detailed technical designs, architecture documentation, and implementation-ready Jira stories.

• Provide technical guidance and implementation specifications to external engineering teams.

• Develop, maintain, and improve Terraform modules and Infrastructure as Code.

• Manage the lifecycle of GCP projects, networking configurations, IAM, and firewall policies.

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

• Develop and support event-driven cloud solutions leveraging services such as Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, and Eventarc.

• Promote engineering excellence through technical governance, automation, and platform best practices.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience as a Senior Software Engineer, Platform Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or similar technical role.

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Advanced programming skills in TypeScript and Python.

• Proven experience designing and developing microservices-based architectures.

• Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.

• Hands-on experience with Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Eventarc, and related GCP services.

• Solid understanding of cloud networking, firewall policies, IAM, and GCP project management.

• Experience conducting technical code reviews and enforcing engineering standards.

• Ability to create detailed solution designs, technical documentation, and implementation-ready user stories.

• Experience collaborating with or providing technical direction to external delivery teams or managed service providers.

• Professional proficiency in English.
