About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Azure and Databricks to join a data-driven organization undergoing continued growth and transformation. This role offers the opportunity to work on modern cloud-based data platforms, enabling scalable analytics and business intelligence solutions.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with a strong background in data engineering, cloud technologies, and large-scale data processing. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize data solutions that support strategic business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data processing solutions using Azure and Databricks.

  • Develop and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and integration processes.

  • Create and maintain semantic models to support analytics and reporting requirements.

  • Implement and manage ETL/ELT workflows following industry best practices.

  • Ensure data quality, reliability, security, and performance across the data platform.

  • Work with large and complex datasets, optimizing solutions for high-volume data environments.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, analysts, and development teams to understand business requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.

  • Contribute to CI/CD implementation and automation for data engineering

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer.

  • Strong hands-on experience with:

    • Microsoft Azure

    • Azure Databricks

    • SQL

    • Python

    • CI/CD tools and practices

  • Experience with data ingestion, transformation, and semantic modeling.

  • Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL/ELT concepts.

  • Familiarity with:

    • Power BI

    • Azure DevOps

    • Azure Storage Explorer

  • Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English.
