Assistant Programme Manager - Westmere

Location: Auckland, Auckland, nz

Job Description

As a Programme Assistant, you’ll be the friendly face that makes the afternoons unforgettable for children. You’ll be working a minimum of 8 hours per week, rostered across Monday to Friday

  • Afternoon/ After School shifts runs between 2.30pm–6.00pm. Availability from 2.30pm is essential, though finish times may vary.
  • Potential school holiday programmes hours available (between 7am - 6pm).

Here’s what you’ll be up to 

  • Supervising and supporting Tamariki in a range of fun, safe activities 
  • Keeping our spaces tidy, clean, and welcoming for children 
  • Helping your Programme Manager run smooth, energetic sessions that keep kids buzzing 
  • Spotting any hiccups (behaviour, wellbeing, safety) and sharing with your manager so everyone stays supported

Qualifications

We’d love to hear from you if you: 

  • Have the right to work in New Zealand (valid visa or citizenship) 
  • Can get to sKids Westmere site with reliable transportation and/or a vehicle
  • Are enthusiastic about working with kids – from babysitting to coaching to volunteering, any experience counts! 
  • Are reliable, energetic, and keen to make every session special
