Securities Services - Margin Services Product Manager - Vice President

As a Product Manager in Margin Services, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the client and developing profitable products that provide client value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed client expectations.

 

Key Responsibilities

Drive strategy and innovation for margin and collateral management across uncleared and cleared derivatives and prime broker margining.

Product Strategy and Solutioning

• Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to clients.
• Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover client solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap. 
• Support fee and legal negotiations, product due diligence and commercial approvals with clear understanding of value, cost to serve and risk.

Client Ownership

• Lead strategic product engagement for assigned clients, including regular reviews, solution discussions, escalations and senior stakeholder updates.
• Understand each client’s derivatives, financing, custody and collateral operating model, and identify opportunities to improve liquidity, scalability and operational efficiency.
• Convert bespoke client requirements into reusable capabilities, operating standards and commercially sustainable solutions.

Leadership and Influence

• Influence stakeholders across levels, regions, businesses and functions, creating alignment around decisions and outcomes.
• Build capability across the organization by sharing product expertise, coaching colleagues and enabling functional partners to support clients effectively.
• Contribute to an accountable, inclusive and high-performing team culture, with a strong focus on execution quality and continuous improvement.

Experience and Qualifications

• 7 years+ of relevant experience in Securities Services, collateral management, derivatives clearing, securities clearing, financing or lending.
• English is required. Mandarin and Cantonese are beneficial for regional client coverage; Japanese, Korean or another Asian language is an advantage.
• Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization.
