How You Will Do It
- Provide technical support across Fire and/or Security projects during the delivery phase.
- Review and develop design information to support successful project execution.
- Ensure designs and technical documentation comply with relevant standards, specifications and customer requirements.
- Support compliance with BS5839-1 and other applicable industry standards.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, Installers, customers and other stakeholders to resolve technical queries.
- Review, coordinate and implement design changes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Produce and update technical drawings and documentation using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Support the production of as-built drawings and project handover documentation.
- Attend project meetings and site visits to support design delivery and resolve technical issues.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting agreed deadlines.
- Identify opportunities to improve design quality, efficiency and project delivery.
- Communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a Fire and/or Security post-design engineering role.
- Strong technical knowledge of Fire or Security systems, with experience supporting projects through delivery.
- Knowledge of BS5839-1 and relevant industry standards or best practice.
- Experience working on projects valued at £500k+.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience working within fast-paced, collaborative project environments.
- Must have continuously resided in the UK for the previous 5 years to meet security vetting requirements.
