Job Description

The BI Architect will be responsible for designing reports and analytic solutions, gathering reporting requirements and documenting business processes as needed. The architect will develop enterprise grade dashboards and BI scorecards in Power BI, develop AI agents which work in tandem with BI reports. Also engages with other teams, departments and stakeholders to make sure all the reporting solution developments are fully understood and delivered to expectations.



JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


· Responsible for analyzing software systems data and recommending Data Analytics solutions and strategy based on the needs of the organization.

· Expand or modify solutions to meet technical and business specifications; test, maintain, and monitor programs.

· Design and develop Scorecards and Dashboards using Power BI for various organizational metrics and KPIs.

· Develop overall Project technical design for report and dashboard development.

· Responsible for enterprise-grade analytics solutions for internal & external customer.

· Development of new reports and enhancement of existing reports using industry standards and best practices.

· Build Test cases and test plans for testing of reports to ensure data quality.

· Incorporate AI functionality into existing or new reports.

· Performance tuning of reports.

· Elicit business requirements from Subject Matter Experts using interviews, document analysis and requirements workshops.

· Use the gathered requirements to develop logic for reporting and analytics.

· Understand data standards & identify data abnormalities.

· Lead and provide technical guidance and mentorship to other team members.

· Perform statistical analysis, build predictive models, and formulate decision models that relate operational activities to results; to drive value stream enhancement and continuous improvement.

· Build end to end automated analytical solutions using Power BI, Power Apps and Microsoft Flow.

· Understand data standards and identify data abnormalities. Instill data quality in all solutions delivered.

· Maintain close alignment with all customers (internal, external, management and at the field level) and other data reporting teams to ensure requirements are being met.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:


· Bachelor degree or higher from a reputed university in engineering, IT, economics, math, statistics, science or other related fields in quantitative or analytical discipline.

· Minimum 7-10 years of experience in related data roles.


SKILL:


· Excellent skill level in SQL, PL/SQL.

· In-depth experience with Microsoft analytics Stack (Power BI, Power Query, Fabric, DAX, T-SQL, SSRS, SSAS)

o Advanced knowledge Power BI.

o Proficient in DAX, M language.

· Experience with Associated Development Tools - Visual Studios Data Tools, SQL Server Management Studio, SQL Server Data Tools, Microsoft TFS, GitHub.

· Working knowledge of Fabric Data Agent, Copilot, Microsoft Foundry.

· Knowledge of working with database client tools such as Toad.

· Knowledge of Data Mining, Clustering & Statistical Modelling (preferred).

· Experience with Azure Machine Learning (AML). Understanding of Azure and its data services.

· Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL DW and Azure SQL.

· Experience with Microsoft Flow and Microsoft Power Apps preferred.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and O365.

· Superior documentation and organizational skills. Must be detail oriented.

· Excellent critical-thinking skills with the ability to research and analyze data retrieved from multiple sources

· Must possess and demonstrate excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills.

· Must be an adaptable self-starter and work with minimal supervision. Must be able to handle multiple projects and organize time effectively.

· Must be willing to put in extra time and effort if need be. Go above and beyond the requirements of the job and strive to exceed expectations
