As a Senior Software Engineer (React, TypeScript & AWS) at John Deere in Indaiatuba/SP, in our Order Management Solutions team, you will have the opportunity to work across global applications. You will sustain and enhance a diverse set of applications, serve as a senior technical reference for the team, implement global solutions while supporting local business needs, and coach other team members on technical topics.
Main Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Engineering Manager, Delivery Lead, Product Manager, and Software Engineers to develop complex solutions that meet business requirements;
- Lead, mentor and support the growth of a diverse team, fostering learning, collaboration, and technical excellence;
- Manage multiple products, initiatives, and projects simultaneously, adapting to changing priorities and requirements;
- Follow industry‑standard agile software design methodologies for development and documentation;
- Support your colleagues and team members by working collaboratively and sharing knowledge through pair‑programming and code review sessions.
What You Need
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent fields;
- Advanced English (broad vocabulary, strong grammar, able to lead meetings, argue, negotiate, and conduct training sessions);
- Extensive experience as a Software Engineer, demonstrating a proven track record in the field;
- Strong technical expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript and modern frameworks such as React or similar technologies;
- Solid experience working with test automation (Jest, RTL, Playwright or similar technologies.)
- Solid experience working with cloud platforms (AWS preferred);
- Solid experience working with DevOps and/or CI/CD pipelines;
- Proficiency querying databases (SQL syntax; SQL Server, Oracle DB, MySQL, and/or PostgreSQL).
- Solid experience operating within high-performing Agile teams;
- Availability to work in a hybrid model, 3 times a week, in Indaiatuba/SP.
What Makes You Stand Out
- Proficiency in Java development;
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm,...);
- Solid experience integrating systems and designing and coding APIs;
- Solid experience with automated tests, complex pipelines, and best programming practices;
- Knowledge of SAP ABAP.
