Título: Engineering Manager - Indaiatuba/SP - 108134

 

 

Your Responsabilities

  • Lead several agile product teams and participate in all aspects of teams work of building out John Deere’s Developer Experience Platform;
  • Coach and Mentor technical practices such as selecting design solutions and leveraging industry standards such as SOLID principles and 12 Factor App for development practices to team members within the product space; 
  • Ensure teams are delivering high quality software through adherence to high quality practices such as Infrastructure as Code as the foundation of development and enabling CI/CD and DevSecOps practices across the enterprise;
  • Provide understanding of Cloud Computing, Analytics and Integration patterns to leverage in creating a Data driven and Scalable Environment to support Ecommerce;
  • Manage the team budget and product budgets;
  • Collaborate closely with Product Manager and Scrum Master on the product backlog, technical backlog, and the agile health of the team.

What skills you need

  • Ability to coach and mentor employees of all levels;
  • Software development and devops technical background;
  • Operations experience with large enterprise applications;
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure of large enterprise applications (AWS, Azure, etc);
  • Deep observability experience.

What makes you stand out

  • Technical Skills in Infrastructure and Operations or Observability Platforms;
  • Experience Working with Developer Platforms;
  • Experience with using metrics to promote technical and cultural change;
  • Kubernetes experience;
  • Direct experience with developer tooling (Github, Gitlab, Artifactory, etc);
  • Budget management for a large department.
