Your Responsibilities
As an Electrical Systems Engineer for Dubuque Works located in Dubuque, IA, you will have design responsibility for electrical systems and embedded system architecture for new Crawler products including:
- Electrical system component specification and selection
- Controller component specification and selection
- Development of electrical systems and embedded systems requirement documents
- Diagnosing and resolving field issues

What Skills You Need
- 3 or more years of professional experience in electrical systems development
- 2 or more years of product development experience
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
What Makes You Stand Out
- 4 or more years of professional experience in electrical systems development
- 1 or more years of experience with software requirements and system design
- Experience with off-road equipment electronic design, CAN communication bus interfaces, and electromagnetic compatibility
- Experience with both electronic hardware and software
- A background in construction equipment operation
Education
Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
