Deere & Company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Chicago, IL with the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Analytics or related field plus 5 years related experience. Required skills: Experience in designing and implementing advanced tagging strategies using platforms including Adobe Analytics for web, mobile, or app platforms, ensuring accurate data collection and integration (5 yrs); Ability to troubleshoot and resolve scripting issues on digital platforms using browser consoles and tools like Charles Proxy, HTTPWatch, or Requestly, to maintain the integrity of analytics implementations and utilize ETL processes and SQL for validating collected data (5 yrs); Proficiency in developing cohesive measurement strategies that align data collection with client priorities, utilizing deep knowledge of analytics workspace, segmentation capabilities, a/b and xt testing using Adobe Target, including Optimizely and admin console in Adobe or Google Analytics (5 yrs); Ability to write custom scripts and develop Adobe or Google Analytics JavaScript tags and plugins, requiring advanced knowledge in JavaScript, jQuery, or other coding languages for custom tracking requirements and data layer enhancements (5 yrs). Up to 20% domestic travel required. Must live within normal commuting distance of the worksite. Up to 50% remote work allowed.
