Responsibilities:Ā 


Enhancement and maintenance of existing and new web ApplicationsĀ 

Technical Design, Coding, and Unit Test of web Applications in accordance with business requirements and technical standardsĀ 

Design and development of reusable components for web applicationĀ 

Participate in functional specifications, prototyping, and estimation of web development projectsĀ 

Participate in the development of detailed design specifications for use by the technical teamĀ 

Participate in evaluation and prototype of new technologies, coding practices or third party Technology for use in web applicationĀ 

Work closely with Business teams to clarify requirements and business needsĀ 

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Ā 


Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or applicable fieldĀ 

Three to Five (3 to 5) years of experience in software development; developing web applicationsĀ 

CSS/HTML: strong Understanding of responsive web design; ability to create User-centered interfaces in order to implement company design patterns; ability to work closely with User Experience, Business Analysts, and Creative Design team members to enhance the overall look and feel and usability of web interfaces; Strong understanding of Bootstrap (3.x) standard components and their customization; ability to teach front-end development concepts to other developersĀ 

Angular IS/JavaScript: Knowledge of core JavaScript concepts for writing and debugging Single Page Applications (SPA); ability to coach other developers on JavaScript languages, i.e. CoffeeScript is a PlusĀ 

Excellent Communication skillsĀ 

Source control: git and/or SVNĀ 

Experience working as part of a development team as well as independentlyĀ 

Willingness to learn new front-end conceptsĀ 

Ability to translate wireframes and high-level designs into visual componentsĀ 

Experience with GULP or GRUNT area a plusĀ 

Experience with Agile Methodology (SCRUM) is a plusĀ 

Excellent team work skills with an ability to get the work done with minimal supervisionĀ 

Understanding of large scale, multi-tier web application architecture
