Senior Teradata Developer

Job Description
Must have strong knowledge and experience in Teradata DB design, development and performance tuningĀ
Expertise in Teradata V2R14.x systems and used utilities like MultiLoad, FastLoad, FastExport, BTEQ, TPump, Teradata SQL, TPTĀ
Must have strong analysis and design skills, translating requirements to technical specifications and design documentsĀ
Must demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills, particularly those that apply to Data Warehouse and Big Data environmentsĀ
Experience in Scripting using Unix Shell ScriptĀ
Experience in implementing large-scale Data Warehouse projects. Hadoop development experience using JAVA, Hive, Pig is a plusĀ
knowledge and experience in developer of ETL applications with advanced features of Informatica PowerCenter 9 like Power Exchange is rreferredĀ
Experience in data modeling using Power Designer will be a plusĀ
Experience in Reporting using MicroStrategy /Tableau will be a plusĀ
Agile experience. Able to work independently and as part of a teamĀ
Background in data warehousing with Finance / Banking industry is a plusĀ
Excellent written and verbal communications skills Can be relied on to deliver products on time and to the requirementsĀ
Correctly estimates software schedules, and delivers on time without quality issuesĀ
Can triage and resolve production issues without supervision. Able to evangelize innovations, through prototyping or other means. Identifies opportunities for engineering productivity improvements or directions, and evangelizes these successfully.
