Job Description
Minimum 5 years’ experience with supporting Windows server operating systems
Minimum 5 years’ experience with supporting server images hosted by a cloud provider, in particular Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Azure or other cloud technologies
Knowledge and understanding of web server concepts and technologies required.
Solid grasp of network concepts, configuration, routing.
Understanding of SAN and NAS technologies.
Familiar with DB server configurations including Oracle RAC and Marklogic on RHEL Cluster with GFS.
Experience with the management of virtual machines hosted on VMware ESX.
M and T series systems along with Solaris virtualization (LDOMS, Zones).
Understanding of HPSA configuration management.
Experience with Windows performance monitoring and tuning.
Advanced Windows troubleshooting and analysis.
Solid interpersonal, communication and follow up skills (verbal and written) required.
Ability to define, analyze and resolve issues both effectively and efficiently in a high-pressure production environment.
