Senior PCB Layout Engineer

What you will be expected to do

• Lead PCB layout design for product lines including high-power inverters, micro-inverters, and integrated solar-storage-charging systems. 
• Execute and review PCB layouts for power electronics products, and contribute to establishing company-wide layout standards and guidelines. 
• Participate in the management and construction of layout component libraries, knowledge bases, and CBB (Common Building Blocks) libraries.
• Establish and optimize layout-related workflows and processes.
• Partner with mechanical, hardware, and manufacturing teams to optimize designs for EMC/ESD/EMI compliance and DFM (Design for Manufacturing). 

You might be a strong candidate if you have/are

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electronic Engineering or related majors. Experience with inverters, EV charging stations, or server power supplies is preferred. 
• Over 7 years of PCB layout experience in high-power electronics (UPS, inverters, telecom power, DC fast chargers), with at least 3 consecutive years specifically focused on residential storage inverter design.
• Deep understanding of PCB design lifecycles and PCB fabrication/assembly processes.
• Master of EDA tools including Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, and CAM350.
• Solid grasp of fundamental hardware principles, Power Integrity (PI), safety standards, and EMC.
• Proactive, adaptable, and a strong team player with excellent communication skills to interface effectively with fabrication plants and internal teams.
