UX Researcher
Team: Design
Location: Canada
Commitment: Full-time
Workplace Type: remote
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a UX Researcher based in Canada.
This role offers the opportunity to become the voice of users within Product and Design, shaping the future of enterprise AI experiences.
You will lead research initiatives that influence product strategy, improve usability, and help teams build solutions that address real customer needs.
The position combines qualitative and quantitative research, customer engagement, and strategic insight generation in a fast-moving technology environment.
You will collaborate closely with product, design, engineering, and customer-facing teams to uncover opportunities and validate impactful solutions.
Working directly with enterprise users and implementation teams, you will gain unique exposure to complex real-world challenges.
This is an exciting opportunity for a researcher who wants to help define how organizations adopt and interact with emerging AI technologies.
Accountabilities:
- Plan and conduct formative research, including discovery interviews, field studies, and jobs-to-be-done analysis, to influence product strategy and roadmap priorities.
- Lead validation research through usability testing, concept testing, and beta feedback programs to evaluate product decisions before and after launch.
- Partner with customer-facing teams to recruit research participants and maintain ongoing user conversations.
- Collaborate with implementation teams and technical experts to identify customer challenges and transform insights into UX improvements.
- Analyze and synthesize research findings into clear, prioritized recommendations that guide Product and Design decisions.
- Develop lightweight, scalable research processes, including self-service tools and insight repositories.
- Promote effective research practices by selecting appropriate methodologies and delivering meaningful insights efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Advocate for user needs and ensure customer perspectives are represented throughout the product development lifecycle.
- 4–7 years of UX research experience, ideally within B2B, enterprise SaaS, or technically complex product environments.
- Strong knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, with the ability to select the right approach for each situation.
- Experience conducting research with enterprise users, decision-makers, and buyers rather than only consumer audiences.
- Ability to independently define research objectives, manage a research pipeline, and deliver projects from planning through execution.
- Excellent synthesis, communication, and storytelling skills with the ability to influence product decisions.
- Comfort working with ambiguity, technical complexity, and evolving product environments.
- Genuine curiosity about AI technologies and how organizations adopt and integrate them.
- Strong collaboration skills across Product, Design, Engineering, and go-to-market teams.
- Fully remote work opportunity based in Canada.
- Opportunity to shape the user experience of an innovative AI-focused technology platform.
- Direct access to enterprise customers and teams working on complex real-world deployments.
- Significant influence on product strategy and roadmap decisions.
- Opportunity to work in a fast-growing environment at the forefront of AI adoption.
- Collaborative culture focused on ownership, impact, and continuous learning.
- The chance to build scalable research practices and help define best practices in an emerging technology space.
The UX Researcher will drive user-centered research initiatives that inform product decisions, improve customer experiences, and establish scalable research practices. This role requires strong ownership, strategic thinking, and the ability to translate user insights into actionable recommendations for cross-functional teams.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is an experienced UX researcher who can independently lead end-to-end research projects and communicate insights effectively across technical and business teams. This role requires strong research expertise, strategic judgment, and curiosity about complex products and emerging technologies.
