Accountabilities:

• Lead the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of complex, scalable software solutions while ensuring high standards of quality, performance, and maintainability.
• Drive architectural discussions, evaluate technical trade-offs, and implement innovative solutions that improve scalability, reliability, and long-term platform evolution.
• Develop reusable frameworks, tools, and engineering best practices that increase developer productivity and simplify software delivery across multiple teams.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering stakeholders to translate business objectives into scalable technical solutions and successfully deliver strategic initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership through mentoring, code reviews, knowledge sharing, and guidance to senior engineers while promoting engineering excellence throughout the organization.
• Identify opportunities to improve development processes, testing strategies, and engineering workflows while introducing modern technologies and best practices where appropriate.
• Lead cross-functional technical initiatives, align stakeholders around architectural decisions, and communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, with at least 8 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven experience leading the design and delivery of large-scale software systems in a senior or staff-level engineering capacity.
• Strong programming expertise in one or more modern languages such as Java, Python, C++, or similar object-oriented languages.
• Deep understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Experience building web applications, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native solutions, with knowledge of AWS, Azure, or comparable cloud platforms considered an advantage.
• Familiarity with relational databases, SQL, version control systems such as Git, and modern software development practices.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers, influence technical direction, and successfully lead cross-functional engineering initiatives.
• Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills, with the ability to solve complex technical and business challenges.
