Accountabilities:

As a Sr. Software Engineer - Platform, you will take ownership of designing, implementing, and improving core platform capabilities that support secure enterprise AI adoption. You will lead technical initiatives, contribute to architecture decisions, and help establish engineering practices that enable scalable product development.

• Design, build, and maintain platform subsystems from technical design through production deployment and continuous improvement.
• Develop production-grade backend and infrastructure services with strong focus on reliability, scalability, observability, and maintainability.
• Own meaningful engineering projects, making architectural tradeoffs that balance performance, security, reliability, and delivery timelines.
• Create technical documentation, design proposals, and implementation plans to support effective collaboration.
• Build and improve systems involving cloud-native technologies, Kubernetes environments, container platforms, and platform services.
• Contribute to open-source projects and collaborate with external developer communities.
• Mentor software engineers, support code review practices, and help improve overall engineering quality.
• Partner with engineering leadership, product teams, and technical stakeholders to influence technical direction.
• Incorporate AI-assisted development practices to improve engineering efficiency while maintaining high-quality standards.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced platform engineer with strong backend development expertise and a proven ability to design and deliver complex distributed systems. You should be comfortable taking ownership of large technical challenges, mentoring others, and operating effectively in a fast-moving environment.

• Deep proficiency in Go with experience building production-grade backend or platform systems.
• Proven experience designing, developing, and operating complete systems from architecture through production.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes and container technologies, including operators, networking, and production environments.
• Experience building reliable, observable systems with monitoring, testing, and operational excellence in mind.
• Experience developing platform services such as gateways, registries, runtimes, deployment tooling, or similar infrastructure components.
• Demonstrated technical leadership experience, including mentoring engineers and improving engineering practices.
• Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make thoughtful engineering decisions in ambiguous situations.
• Experience working with cloud-native technologies and modern software development practices.
• Familiarity with AI infrastructure, AI development tools, or Model Context Protocol (MCP) is a plus.
