Accountabilities:

The Sr. Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving backend systems while collaborating with engineering and business teams. Key responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable APIs using Python and Java-based technologies.
• Build and continuously improve backend services that support core product functionality and user experiences.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, data scientists, and specialized teams to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain scalable, multi-tenant web applications with strong reliability and performance standards.
• Apply software engineering best practices throughout the full development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Ensure applications meet high standards for quality, security, maintainability, and scalability.
• Contribute to technical discussions, architecture decisions, and continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and engineering workflows.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced software engineer with strong backend development expertise and a passion for building impactful technology solutions. Required qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 6+ years of experience developing enterprise or consumer-facing web applications.
• Strong experience with Python or Java/Spring-based development environments.
• Experience designing, building, and deploying scalable REST APIs.
• Experience developing multi-tenant web applications and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of software development best practices, testing methodologies, and secure coding principles.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Highly proactive mindset with the ability to independently manage priorities and drive solutions forward.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex technical challenges.
