This role offers the opportunity to design and build scalable cloud-native applications within a modern engineering environment.
You will contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from backend services and APIs to frontend experiences and cloud infrastructure.
The position focuses on developing high-performing solutions using .NET technologies, AWS services, and Agile delivery practices.
You will collaborate with distributed teams to deliver reliable, secure, and observable applications that support critical business operations.

Accountabilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable full-stack applications using .NET Core, C#, AWS cloud services, and modern software engineering practices.
- Build and maintain cloud-native applications, including backend services, frontend components, database integrations, and serverless solutions.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs while ensuring proper documentation, scalability, security, and performance using tools such as Swagger/OpenAPI.
- Implement AWS-based solutions using services including API Gateway, Lambda, CloudWatch, X-Ray, and event-driven architectures.
- Consume and implement infrastructure templates using AWS CDK in collaboration with cloud engineering teams.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Git-based workflows to support efficient application delivery.
- Apply automated testing practices, including unit testing frameworks such as NUnit or xUnit, while maintaining strong code quality and test coverage.
- Follow Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles and contribute to continuous improvement across engineering processes.
- Participate in Agile and SAFe ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and Program Increment (PI) planning activities.
- Collaborate with distributed global teams to support solution design discussions, architecture reviews, performance optimization, and observability improvements.
- 5–8 years of professional software development experience with strong full-stack engineering expertise.
- Advanced hands-on experience with .NET Core 6/8, C#, backend development, and scalable application design.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, including query development, database interactions, and scripting.
- Experience developing APIs using AWS serverless and event-driven architectures.
- Practical experience with AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, CloudWatch, X-Ray, and related cloud-native technologies.
- Experience using AWS CDK for infrastructure provisioning and consuming cloud infrastructure templates.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and API documentation standards.
- Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and working with Git-based development workflows.
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks, Test-Driven Development practices, and software quality standards.
- Experience working in Agile or SAFe environments, including sprint ceremonies and cross-functional collaboration.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with the ability to work effectively in globally distributed teams.
- Preferred experience includes insurance or claims technology, Guidewire platforms, microservices architectures, distributed systems, and participation in solution design activities.
- Strong interest in application monitoring, observability, scalability, and performance optimization.
