Solutions Architect Lead

Team: IT

Location: US

Commitment: Full-time

Workplace Type: remote

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Solutions Architect Lead based in United States.

This is a senior, hands-on leadership role focused on delivering successful technical integrations for enterprise clients.
You will lead onboarding initiatives from initial requirements through implementation, ensuring solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned with customer goals.
The role combines technical architecture, client engagement, implementation management, and team leadership.
You’ll translate complex business and technical requirements into practical solutions while managing timelines, risks, and deliverables.
Your work will directly shape customer experiences and influence how integration processes and technical resources evolve.
You’ll collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, remote-first environment with significant autonomy.
This opportunity is well suited to an experienced technical leader who enjoys solving complex problems and building scalable implementation practices.

Accountabilities

    • Lead and develop a high-performing integrations team focused on efficient client onboarding and scalable technical solutions.
    • Own end-to-end customer onboarding, providing technical guidance and support throughout implementation to ensure successful deployments.
    • Analyze customer requirements from both technical and functional perspectives and design solutions based on a deep understanding of platform capabilities.
    • Manage implementation projects by establishing timelines, monitoring quality, mitigating risks, coordinating stakeholders, and driving deliverables through completion.
    • Develop and maintain APIs, SDK documentation, integration guides, and other technical support resources that enable successful implementations.
    • Build a strong understanding of customer business challenges, technical environments, requirements, and success criteria to recommend appropriate solutions.
    • Collaborate closely with internal product, engineering, and other technical teams to resolve integration challenges and improve implementation processes.
    • Act as a key voice of the customer by identifying recurring needs, technical gaps, and opportunities for product improvements.
    • Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining high standards for quality, communication, and delivery.
    • Requirements

      • 7+ years of hands-on experience in implementation management, integrations engineering, technical account management, solution architecture, systems analysis, or a closely related technical role.
      • Proven experience working across multiple internal and external technical teams and coordinating complex implementation initiatives.
      • 3+ years of experience in B2B SaaS, ideally within payments, fraud prevention, risk management, compliance, or another closely related domain.
      • Strong understanding of APIs, API specifications such as OpenAPI, web development, and modern integration patterns.
      • Practical experience with SQL querying and analyzing JSON payloads.
      • Experience using technical scripting and development tools such as Python, Bash, Ruby, Golang, SQL, or Postman to build integrations or internal tools.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical and business concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
      • Strong project management, organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
      • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and the ability to develop technical teams while maintaining a strong customer focus.
      • Comfortable working independently in a remote, fast-paced environment with a high degree of ownership and accountability.
      • Benefits

        • Competitive compensation combining cash and equity.
        • Estimated Canadian base salary of CA$185,000–CA$250,000, depending on location, qualifications, experience, and interview performance.
        • Equity opportunities with early exercise available for all options, including pre-vested options.
        • Remote-first culture with the flexibility to work from home or another productive location.
        • Flexible paid time off and a year-end company break.
        • Health, dental, and vision coverage for employees and eligible dependents in United States.
        • Employer matching contributions of up to 4% through an RRSP program.
        • MacBook Pro provided for work.
        • One-time home-office setup stipend for items such as a desk, chair, and monitor.
        • Monthly meal stipend and social meet-up stipend.
        • Annual health and wellness stipend.
        • Annual learning and professional development stipend.
        • Opportunity to work alongside a globally distributed team and contribute to a rapidly growing technology environment.
