- Collaborate with support, product, customer success, and engineering stakeholders to gather context, communicate progress, and provide clear resolution updates.
- Identify issues suitable for engineering fixes, write production-quality code, submit pull requests, participate in reviews, and support deployments.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate troubleshooting, analyze potential solutions, and improve coding workflows while applying independent technical judgment.
- Contribute to root-cause analysis efforts and help reduce recurring issues through code improvements, documentation updates, and improved operational processes.
- Follow secure development practices, including appropriate access management, secrets handling, and protection of sensitive customer and user information.
- Work across backend technologies to gain experience with production systems, debugging practices, and scalable software development.
- Maintain ownership of assigned issues and follow them through completion while ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- 0–2 years of professional software development experience, including internships, co-ops, or significant academic and personal projects.
- Working proficiency in Go, with Python experience considered a plus.
- Familiarity with relational databases and ability to write and understand SQL queries, preferably with PostgreSQL.
- Strong debugging skills with the ability to analyze logs, reproduce issues, and trace problems across systems.
- Understanding of Unix shell scripting and command-line environments.
- Experience or interest in using AI development tools such as Claude or similar solutions, with the ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code and recommendations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to different audiences.
- Ownership mindset with the ability to independently manage tasks and drive issues through resolution.
- Interest in secure software development practices and responsible handling of sensitive data.
- Competitive annual salary range of $65,000 - $75,000 USD.
- Eligibility for annual bonus opportunities.
- Fully remote work opportunity available anywhere in the United States.
- Health, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
- 401(k) retirement plan with employer match.
- Open paid time off policy and paid holidays.
- Additional annual paid global wellness days.
- Paid parental leave.
- Short-term disability, long-term disability, and life insurance benefits.
- Flexible spending account (FSA) and health savings account (HSA) options.
- Employee assistance program supporting personal and professional well-being.
- Career advancement opportunities and professional development resources.
- Employee recognition programs.
- Access to LinkedIn Learning and continuous learning opportunities.
