Accountabilities:

The Software Engineer, AI/Agents will be responsible for designing, building, and scaling AI-driven products while contributing across the full software development lifecycle. This role requires strong technical judgment, ownership, and the ability to translate complex business challenges into reliable software solutions.

• Design and develop production-ready AI agents that become core components of the product experience, moving beyond prototypes into scalable real-world applications.
• Build end-to-end product features across modern technology stacks, including TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
• Apply strong AI and machine learning expertise to evaluate where agent-based solutions provide value and how they can be implemented reliably.
• Develop and improve AI systems through thoughtful architecture, evaluation strategies, reliability practices, and continuous optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs, define solutions, and deliver impactful features quickly.
• Take ownership of ambiguous technical challenges and drive innovative approaches in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Contribute to improving engineering practices, AI development standards, and product scalability.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an AI-native software engineer with hands-on experience building intelligent systems and a strong foundation in modern software engineering. They should be comfortable working independently, making technical decisions, and delivering customer-focused solutions.

• Proven experience building and shipping production AI agents or advanced machine learning applications, including agent design, evaluation, reliability, and scaling considerations.
• Strong professional experience with TypeScript and modern software development practices.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts and the ability to apply them effectively in product development.
• Experience designing systems that integrate AI models into reliable user-facing applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, rapidly changing environments.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering and product teams.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with AI agent frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, or similar technologies.
• Experience working with Node.js and React ecosystems.
• Background in forward-deployed engineering or customer-facing technical roles.
• 3–5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience building solutions for complex operational or enterprise environments.
