Accountabilities:

The Software Development Engineer will contribute to the design, development, delivery, and operation of secure cloud-based applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to create reliable and scalable solutions.

• Design, build, and maintain high-throughput backend services and APIs capable of processing large volumes of data securely and efficiently.
• Provide technical guidance on system architecture, usability improvements, and complex engineering challenges.
• Develop balanced solutions that address business requirements, user experience, and long-term technical sustainability.
• Take ownership of software delivery by driving high-quality engineering practices and contributing throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in design reviews, ensuring solutions are customer-focused, testable, resilient, and aligned with security best practices.
• Support cloud applications in production environments, including troubleshooting, monitoring, and participation in on-call rotations.
• Build and maintain automated deployment processes using modern CI/CD practices and cloud-native technologies.
• Collaborate with engineering peers to improve development standards, processes, and overall team effectiveness.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings strong software engineering experience, a passion for cloud technologies, and the ability to deliver secure and scalable enterprise solutions in a collaborative environment.

• 5+ years of experience developing and supporting enterprise-grade cloud-based software systems.
• Strong software development background with proven experience in coding, architecture, and problem-solving.
• Proficiency in C#/.NET or another modern programming language.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or similar agentic AI coding solutions to accelerate software design, development, and review.
• Experience working in Agile teams with continuous integration and continuous delivery practices.
• Hands-on experience designing API services and working with scalable microservices architectures.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native application design, software development best practices, and automated testing within the SDLC.
• Experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, Docker containers, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code technologies such as Terraform.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks and end-to-end testing approaches.
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and drive improvements.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to provide and receive constructive feedback.
