Senior Solutions Architect (Pre-Sales Engineering )

Accountabilities:

• Lead technical discovery sessions, architecture workshops, and customer presentations for strategic enterprise opportunities across networking, cybersecurity, cloud, and managed services.
• Design scalable end-to-end solutions covering areas such as SASE, Zero Trust, SD-WAN, cloud connectivity, enterprise networking, compute infrastructure, and security operations.
• Develop technical documentation including architecture diagrams, Bills of Materials (BOMs), Statements of Work (SOWs), solution proposals, and implementation scopes.
• Partner with sales teams to define technical win strategies, deliver proof-of-concept demonstrations, and translate complex technologies into clear business value for both technical and executive audiences.
• Drive the positioning of managed services by building compelling business cases focused on operational efficiency, risk reduction, long-term value, and recurring revenue.
• Collaborate with delivery teams and technology partners to ensure proposed solutions are technically sound, operationally viable, and commercially successful.
• Maintain strong relationships with strategic technology vendors while staying current with emerging cybersecurity, networking, and cloud innovations.
• Mentor junior solution architects, contribute to best practices, and support the evolution of service offerings and solution frameworks.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of IT experience, including at least 3 years in a customer-facing pre-sales Solution Architect, Consulting Architect, or Senior Systems Engineer role within a VAR, MSP, or IT services environment.
• Proven expertise in designing enterprise networking, cybersecurity, cloud, and managed services solutions for complex customer environments.
• Strong knowledge of technologies including Next-Generation Firewalls, SASE, Zero Trust, SD-WAN, SIEM, EDR/XDR, enterprise networking, hybrid cloud, and cloud security.
• Experience leading technical discovery, solution architecture, executive presentations, and technical workshops for senior business and IT stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality technical documentation, including architecture designs, BOMs, SOWs, and proposal responses.
• Strong understanding of managed services business models, recurring revenue strategies, and long-term technology roadmaps.
• Excellent communication, presentation, consulting, and relationship-building skills with both technical teams and C-level executives.
• Relevant professional certifications such as Cisco CCNP, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or equivalent are required or obtainable within six months, while certifications including CISSP, AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Expert, CCIE, or Zero Trust certifications are highly valued.
